Twice was selected as a female artist who gained the hottest topic of this year in Japan.
On December 5, Oricon of Japan announced the resutls of "2017 Oricon Queen Award", which selects female artists who showed popularity and buzz in Japan's entertainment industry of this year.
Twice was chosen as the winner of the "2017 Break Artist Ranking" award for their hottest and most talked about achievment this year. Twice gained their popularity with their debut in Japan with their "best-of" album "#TWICE" with their popular syndrome song "TT" and "One More Time" album which both albums topped charts. Other winners of the 2017 Oricon Queen award included Riho Yoshioka, Yui Aragaki, Satomi Ishihara, and Chiemi Blouson.
Meanwhile, Twice has been confirmed to appear on Japans popular year-end shows "Music Station Super Live 2017" on December 22 and "Kohaku Uta Gassen" on December 31. Congratulations to Twice and the other 2017 Oricon Queen award winners!
