Introduction to Tokuma Japan Communications
Tokuma Japan Communications is one of the major record labels in Japan. It was founded in 1965 as a subsidiary of Tokuma Shoten Publishing Co., Ltd. It was acquired by Daiichi Kosho Co., Ltd. in 2001. On April 1, 2010, Nippon Crown (also owned by Daiichi Kosho) and Tokuma Japan Communications formed the music distribution company Crown Tokuma. It manages K-pop promotions in Japan.
