Introduction

Han Seung Yeon (한승연), or Seungyeon (승연), is a Korean singer & actress known for being the main vocalist of the girl group, KARA, under DSP Media which debuted on March 29th 2007.

On January 26th 2015, it was announced that Seungyeon has signed a contract with J,Wide Company

On January 14th 2016, Seungyeon's contract with DSP Media was terminated & the following day, KARA was disbanded. Following this, she pursued a career in acting. One of her most memorable roles was as Jung Ye-Eun in the drama Age of Youth (also known as Hello, My Twenties!).

On March 1st 2018, it was announced that Seungyeon's exclusive contract with J,Wide had been terminated & 12 days later, on March 13th, she signed a contract with Inyeon Entertainment. Then, on April 1st 2020, it was announced that her contract had been terminated and, 13 days later, on April 14th 2020, Seungyeon signed a contract with YG Entertainment's subsidiary label, YGX Entertainment.
