Who is allowed

Who is allowed in Kpopping's database

Defining Kpop can be tricky and for the most part we have a very relaxed attitude towards what is accepted as we allow rock, rap, indie artists, trot, etc. Usually following the guideline of is the music in Korean or partially Korean? If so then yes they can be allowed. As time goes on this has become more tricky with many companies expanding out to different territories and others wanting in.

Anyone in our database must of released music, that means project groups, hip-hop crews and things like that won't be allowed unless they created original music.

We decided on these guidelines which the artist being submitted must at least meet 1 of.
A) Song is at least partially in Korean.
B) Performed on a Korean music show.
C) Was a contestant on a survival show.

What about pre-debut groups?
Pre-debut groups need to have a name and be in the teaser posting process announcing their debut date and be active on social media in order to be added.

Companies?
Any company that represents an artist that fits our guidelines above is allowed.
