On January 17th, YG Entertainment head Yang Hyunsuk responded to the protest hashtags asking for better treatment of BIGBANG's Seungri. The trending hastags were #SeungriDeserves Better and #YGTreatSeungriRight
He took to his Instagram to post a snippet of his brief Kakao exchange with Seungri regarding this issue, posting two pictures and including an English caption.
The first picture is a screenshot of the two's conversation:
Seungri: ㅜㅜ I will end on a positive note, but I was trying to be funny and talk about the issue as so but it became too much, I'm sorry
Yang Hyunsuk: tearful fox emoji
The second photo was a screengrab of an article discussing the fans' trending hastags.
He captioned the post in English as well:
"YG ❤ Seungri ❤ V.I.P. I have never deleted comments in my life time. I wish everyone a happy new year."
