BLACKPINK have kicked off their U.S. press tour to promote their North American tour starting in April, their upcoming Coachella performance, and the release of their new album speculated in March. 
On February 11th their promotions began by making their U.S. television debut on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. The girls gave a spectacular performance of DDU-DU DDU-DU, the audience seemed particularly enamored by Jennie's rap, lots of cheers and applause could be heard after she finished her second verse.
The Late Show also released a fun video of the girls testing their knowledge of each other.
 
 

The next morning BLACKPINK made an appearance on Good Morning America, where they performed DDU-DU DDU-DU live and gave a short interview. The show host mentioned that BLINKs began lining up late last night in the cold to see the girls.  
The host asked the girls about their North American tour, Jennie said the group is very excited it's finally happening. “We recently got invited to perform at Coachella, which was unbelievable and we're really excited,” Rosé said. “I guess we thought that it would just be the right timing to kick off our U.S. tour.
 
 


There were also many behind the scenes videos floating around Twitter, one of which showed BLINKs singing an impromptu happy birthday to Rosé. As well as, before their appearance the hosts had some fans waiting outside do a BLACKPINK trivia game for a ticket to into the studio. Though, some BLINKs on Twitter questioned the validity of these fans, when it was revealed none of them knew the correct spelling of their title track DDU-DU DDU-DU.
BLACKPINK's press tour isn't over quite yet, they have an interview on Strahan and Sara premiering this Friday, February 15th. In the preview for the interview, they talk about the group's lightstick and have Lisa teach one of the hosts a choreography point from DDU-DU DDU-DU.
