Former AKB48 member Takahashi Juri, who famously starred in MNET's Produce48, revealed to be set for a debut in a Korean Girlgroup.
This afternoon (March 4th), Takahashi Juri announced her graduation from AKB48 during her birthday event. Furthermore, she also shared that she signed a contract with Woolim Entertainment, home to INFINITE, Lovelyz, and Golden Child, with plans to debut in a new girl group.
She has been in talks with Woolim since February and has even spent time in Korea for her dream. Ever since Produce48, she has been discusing a future career in South Korea. She also apologized for the sudden announcement.
Takahashi Juri said that she worried a lot during the time after not making it to Produce48's project girl group IZ*ONE, but that she plans to show a better side of herself through this new project.
