Woollim Entertainment, a home for Infinite, Lovelyz and Golden Child, marked the start of the new project.
On July 22, Woolim Entertainment released a logo motion video of the new project through its official YouTube channel and Naver V. The video showed hopeful icons, including unicorns and whales, and left clues to the name of "Rocket Punch."
Shortly after the release of the video, "Rocket Punch" ranked No. 1 in real-time search terms on portal sites and Twitter. Netizens have shown keen interest in the launch of the new group, which has been rumored since early this year, continuing their interpretation and speculation.
Meanwhile, various official channels, including YouTube, Twitter, Facebook, Instagram and Naver V, titled "Rocket Punch," have also been officially opened, adding more expectations for the project.
