Sibling duo Akdong Musician will now be promoting under the name AKMU.On September 25, they held a press conference ahead of their upcoming album release.At the event, Lee Soo Hyun shared their reason for making a comeback as AKMU instead of Akdong Musician.She explained, “‘Akdong Musician' consists of [the Chinese characters] ‘rak' (‘ak'), meaning ‘fun,' and ‘dong,' meaning ‘child.' We are now both adults, so we took out ‘dong' to be called ‘AKMU' in order to not be limited in our future music.”
