EXO's Suho has been appointed as the honorary ambassador for the fourth International Film Festival & Awards Macao (IFFAM).
As the new IFFAM ambassador, Suho will be attending the 24th Busan International Film Festival's opening ceremony and walk the red carpet on October 3rd.
Every year, IFFAM has chosen directors and actors who've contributed outstanding performances in Asia as their ambassadors, and this year, Suho will be the official Talent Ambassador along with famous actress Carina Lau who is known for her performances in “Days of Being Wild,” “The Return of the Condor Heroes,” and “2046.”
Furthermore, “Along with the Gods” director Kim Yong Hwa and director Wang Xiaoshuai, who has earned two Silver Bears at the Berlin International Film Festival for “Beijing Bicycle” and “In Love We Trust,” have also been appointed as ambassadors for IFFAM.
On becoming the ambassador for the fourth IFFAM, Suho shared, “I'm very happy to take part in the International Film Festival & Awards Macao as an ambassador. I'm already anticipating [the event] because I think it'll be a valuable experience for me as an actor. I'll do my best so that [everyone] can enjoy the festival together with the audience.”
Suho has been busy promoting in diverse genres including musicals, dramas, and films.
He made his film debut with the movie “Glory Day,” and he recently won the Discovery of the Year award at the 15th Jaecheon International Music & Film Festival (JIMFF) for his performance in the film “Student A.”
The fourth IFFAM will be held from December 5th to December 10th in Macao. Suho will attend the opening ceremony on December 5th, and he will actively participate in the festival as the ambassador.
