On October 2nd, Forbes magazine announced that BTS's latest title track “Boy With Luv” had reached almost 285 million streams on the digital music service, officially making it “the most-streamed song on Spotify by a K-pop act.”
BLACKPINK, the previous record-holder for the most-streamed K-pop song on Spotify, follows close behind with their Dua Lipa collaboration “Kiss and Make Up,” as well as their recent hit “Kill This Love.”
BTS previously made history on Spotify's daily Global Top 200 chart back in April, when “Boy With Luv” debuted at No. 4—the highest debut on the chart for a song by a Korean artist. Last month, “Boy With Luv” also became the fastest Korean boy group music video to hit 550 million views on YouTube.
Congratulations to BTS!

Sad that a group like BTS or Blackpink needs a western artist to chart like that, but I guess that's the entertainment industry for you
