Girls' Generation's Taeyeon has taken over the realtime music charts!
Taeyeon released her second studio album, “Purpose,” at 6 p.m. KST on October 28. As of 9 p.m. KST on the same day, the title track “Spark” had hit No. 1 on the realtime music charts of Melon, Genie, Bugs, Soribada, and Flo. Several media outlets also reported that “Spark” had received No. 1 on Olleh Music and Naver Music as well.

“Spark” is an alternative soul pop genre track that showcases Taeyeon's impressive vocals over a powerful melody. The lyrics allude to a spark to express Taeyeon's identity and vision as an artist.
Congratulations to Taeyeon!

Charting aside, the entire album is amazing. Every single song is just so good and distinct.
