IZ*ONE'S Miyawaki Sakura will temporarily be stepping down as a DJ.
On November 28th, Japanese media reported that the IZONE member will be stepping down from her radio show "Under the Tree with Sakura." She will be temporarily replaced by AKB48 member Yokoyama Yui. Yokoyama Yui said, "[Sakura] asked me to tell you all not to be sad. I'm certain Sakura will be able to return to the show shortly. In the meantime, AKB48 members will rotate as DJs for the show. I believe that IZONE will be able to return."
This news comes after many cancellations and delays in IZONE's promotions due to the controversy surrounding Mnet's "Produce48" rigging scandal. The project girl group indefinitely postponed the release of their first full album and have cancelled all Japanese promotions for the time being.

Poor Sakura, her activities as an AKB48 member are even affected by Mnet's wrongdoing. It sucks to know she's involved in this mess when it's pretty obvious she won her place in the group through her own merits.
