Starship Entertainment has released a statement regarding MONSTA X's Joohoney‘s participation in iHeartRadio's Jingle Ball concert tour.
On December 7 KST, the agency announced that after experiencing “sudden dizziness and an extreme worsening of his condition,” Joohoney had gone to the hospital the day prior instead of flying to the United States with his bandmates.
MONSTA X is currently slated to perform at Chicago's Jingle Ball concert on December 7 local time, as well as the Minneapolis concert on December 9, the Philadelphia concert on December 11, and the New York concert on December 13. According to Starship Entertainment, even though Joohoney hopes to participate in the tour, it may not be possible due to the state of his health.
The agency's full Korean statement is as follows:

Hello. This is Starship Entertainment.
We are making an announcement regarding MONSTA X member Joohoney's participation in the Jingle Ball tour.
After boarding an airplane to travel to the United States for the Jingle Ball tour on December 6 (Korean time), MONSTA X's Joohoney reported experiencing sudden dizziness and an extreme worsening of his condition while waiting for the plane to take off. He was promptly moved to a hospital, where he received medical examination and treatment.
Joohoney is currently in better condition after resting, and Joohoney personally hopes to participate in the tour as scheduled in order to keep his promise to his fans. However, we have determined that he is in need of stability and rest.
Accordingly, we will make a statement later on regarding the possibility of Joohoney's participation in the Jingle Ball tour.
We sincerely apologize for causing concern to the many fans who have been looking forward to and waiting for MONSTA X's [performances at the] Jingle Ball tour. We will do everything we can to protect our artists so that the MONSTA X members can go about their activities in good health.
We hope Joohoney feels much better soon. Stay tuned for further updates.

Starship should just let him rest. Also, the entire group's schedule has been too crazy since last year. It's only a matter of time until another gets sick as well if they keep this up.
