Girls' Generation Cancels This Week's Activities After Seohyun Tests Positive for COVID-19

SM Entertainment said on the 9th on the global fandom platform KWANGYA CLUB, "Seohyun was confirmed to be infected with COVID-19 this day."

Accordingly, Seohyun immediately stopped all schedules and is taking treatment and rest. Seohyun, who works as an actress, is currently a member of Namu Actors, but SM is in charge of the schedule related to Girls' Generation' group.

With Seohyun's confirmation, Girls' Generation' music broadcast schedules such as Mnet's "M Countdown" and SBS TV's "Inkigayo" scheduled for this week have been canceled.

Seohyun said on SNS that day, "SONE (Girls' Generation' fandom) and my members, who must have waited for our activities more than anyone else, I'm so sorry. I thought I wouldn't get it because I was healthy, but I ended up getting it. I'm so upset and sorry. Let's get well soon and see each other in good health next week."
