NewJeans Enters Spotify's "Global Top Songs" with "Attention"

The debut song "Attention" of NewJeans has entered the Spotify Global Chart.

"Attention" entered the Spotify Global Daily Top Song Chart at 176th on the 11th. This is the highest ranking among the new songs on the chart. In addition, "Attention" and "Hype Boy" remained at No. 1 and No. 2 on the Korean Spotify Daily Top Songs chart for 11 consecutive days, while "Cookie" ranked No. 3 for 5 consecutive days. On top of that, as the song "Hurt" ranked fifth on the chart on the 11th, all of the songs on their debut album "New Jeans" settled in the top five on the daily top song chart of Korean Spotify. "Attention" topped the Korean Spotify's latest weekly top song chart (August 5-11) for two consecutive weeks. "Hype Boy" and "Cookie" were also ranked second and third, with NewJeans' triple-title tracks taking the top three on the weekly charts. "Hurt" ranked sixth, up nine notches from the previous week.

NewJeans' music is also becoming a box office hit in the domestic music charts. "Attention" topped the Bugs daily chart for six consecutive days on the 12th, topped the Melon Genie daily chart for a second day, and topped the Vibe Top 100 for three consecutive days.

"Hype Boy" and "Cookie" settled at 8th and 48th on the Genie Daily Chart on the 12th, up 2 positions and 13 positions, respectively. NewJeans is a new girl group from ADOR led by CEO Min Heejin. The debut album "New Jeans," released on the 8th, sold 262,815 copies in a day on the 8th based on the Hanteo Chart, setting a new sales record on the first day of the release of all girl group debut albums.
