Joy is coming to Netflix!
On August 19th, media streaming giant Netflix released the trailer for Red Velvet Joy's upcoming romcom drama, "Once Upon a Small Town." The commentary-styled trailer gave a glimpse of the main characters' thoughts and individual colors, making their dynamics even more exciting.
The drama is mainly produced and streamed by KakaoTV. However, Fans are especially happy about Netflix's international acquisition of the drama because it means Joy's bubbly acting can be watched across different regions worldwide.
"Once Upon a Small Town" (formerly called Accidental Country Diary) is described as a romantic comedy about a veterinarian who relocates to the countryside and sparks romance with a cheerful and bright policewoman who has a friendly secret. It stars Park Sooyoung (Joy), Choo Young Woo (Police University, School 2021), and Baek Sung Chul (Inspector Koo). It will start streaming on September 5th!
