Jessi Reportedly in Talks to Join Antenna

Singer Jessi, who recently left Psy's agency, could be making a new home at Antenna.

According to broadcast officials on August 24th, Jessi is in positive discussions to sign an exclusive contract with Antenna. Reportedly, the two sides have agreed on the exclusive contract itself and are currently putting the finishing touches to it.

Jessi ended her contract with P-NATION this past July. At the time, P-NATION said, "We will continue to cheer on Jessi’s future as an artist, while we will continuously support her diverse activities," signaling an amicable parting of ways between both sides.

After leaving P-NATION, Jessi immediately became a Free Agent big fish in the entertainment industry, and after a flurry of rumors it appears she is set to join Antenna. Jessi appeared on "Sixth Sense," worked on together by Antenna's Yoo Jaeseok and Lee Mijoo, in June and said, "I have two weeks left on my contract at P-NATION. I will come to Antenna." This became the talk of the town as interest of the public focused on this.

It is reported that Yoo Jaesuk in fact helped mediate contract discussions between Jessi and Antenna.

Jessi first made her debut in 2005 as a guest member of Uptown, making a name for herself as a unique and stand-out rapper. Her song "NUNU NANA" released in 2020, a year into her contract with P-NATION, was a global hit. Since then, she has been loved for her honest and bold charms through various TV and YouTube broadcasts, and has continued to be popular as a singer/rapper after releasing her new single "ZOOM" in April of this year.
