On August 3rd, Cha Eun Woo's agency, Fantagio, revealed that the idol-turned-actor was offered a role in an upcoming fantasy romance drama titled "This Love is Irresistible." Cha Eun Woo will play Jang Shin Yu, a lawyer working at a city hall, popular for his looks and natural talent. However, his life changes when he gets caught up in unusual situations.
If Cha Eun Woo accepts, this will be his first adult role in the modern world because he has always played either a student or a teenager in his previous dramas.
"This Love Is Irresistible" will tell the story of a woman who comes across a forbidden book that's been sealed for 300 years and a man who became the book's victim. The drama is written by Noh Ji Seol, who also penned dramas such as "Kiss Sixth Sense," "Voice 4," and "Tunnel."
This year, Cha Eun Woo is also set to star as a priest in the pre-produced fantasy-mystery drama "ISLAND." In addition, he will also return to the big screen through the movie "Decibel," starring alongside Kim Rae Won and Lee Jong Suk.
