Girls' Generation Sooyoung will be Ji Chang Wook's female lead in the drama "If You Wish Upon Me."
This new drama by KBS 2TV will air on Wednesdays and Thursdays and will premier at 9:50 PM starting on August 10. SNSD's Sooyoung would take the role of Seo Yeon-joo, a nurse who exercises obsessively and is the icon of health. The viewers expressed their excitement about Sooyoung's depiction of hospital life as a nurse in the drama.
Sooyoung stated, "Yeon-joo is cheerful, honest, and always full of energy, so she is like a light in the hospice ward. While preparing for this role, what I learned about the profession of a nurse is that it is a job that requires a lot of energy physically."
