KARD renews its contract with DSP Media

Co-ed group KARD renews its contract with DSP Media.

DSP Media recently discussed future activities and their vision with KARD members BM, J.seph, Jeon Somin, and Jeon Jiwoo, and based on mutual trust, they formed a deep consensus on what they wanted to show as a team as well as an individual, so they renewed their contracts. DSP Media plans to continue supporting KARD so they can carry out their activities domestically and abroad.

KARD is a group that made a big splash when it released its pre-debut song "Oh NaNa" in 2016 and making it on the global music charts even before its official debut. It attracted attention by appearing in a new form of mixed, co-ed group in the K-pop market, which is mostly known for boy groups and girl groups, and has established themselves as a "K-pop representative co-ed group."

KARD released its fifth mini-album "Re:" in June, successfully completing its first full-length comeback in a year and 10 months after member J.seph's military discharge and its first comeback activities since DSP Media's merger with RBW. Initial sales of this album rose five times compared to the previous album, proving that global recognition and the fandom are growing day by day even during the hiatus caused by military service.

KARD is expected to begin touring in South America and North America this summer, since they have just renewed their contracts.

In KARD's Latin American tour, which starts in July, performances in major cities such as Brazil, Chile, and Mexico have already been sold out quickly. Thanks to this momentum, KARD plans to hold a North American tour in 11 U.S. cities, including LA, Washington, DC, New York, and Dallas, starting in August, and will respond enthusiastically to the explosive love sent by global fans.
