K-pop's flagship girl group BLACKPINK became a million seller on the day of the release of its second full-length album "BORN PINK."

BLACKPINK is the first K-pop girl group to sell more than 1 million copies on the first day of the album's release. Popular boy groups such as BTS and Seventeen have sold more than 1 million copies on the same day. The pre-orders for "Born Pink" exceeded 2 million copies, so BLACKPINK is expected to record a "double million seller" for the first time for a K-pop girl group with its album "Born Pink."

The cumulative sales of BLACKPINK's first album "The Album," which had more than 1 million pre-orders, are known to be 1.25 million copies, and with the release of the second album, the cumulative sales are also expected to increase.
