BLACKPINK's Jisoo To Perform on Inkigayo Next Week

The solo debut stage of the group BLACKPINK's Jisoo has been delayed by a week.

BLACKPINK Jisoo's agency YG Entertainment recently posted a notice, saying, "We are informing you that there has been a change in Jisoo's first broadcast schedule, which was announced through SBS 'Inkigayo' Next Week last week."

The agency said, "Inkigayo's pre-recording is scheduled for Sunday, the 2nd, according to the artist's schedule and promotion schedule, but the first broadcast will be on Sunday, the 9th."

In addition, the agency announced that Jisoo will conduct two pre-recording sessions of "Inkigayo" on the 2nd, the first episode will be released on the 9th, and the second episode will be released on the 16th.

"Inkigayo" also announced Jisoo's appearance on March 26 with a "Next Week" video, but later on the 2nd, it was assumed that Jisoo's appearance was delayed as she wasn't included in the line up.

According to the Hanteo Chart on the 1st, "ME" sold 875,149 copies in one day as soon as it was released at 1 p.m. on March 31. This is the highest sales ever for a single female solo album in Korea. "ME" recorded 950,000 pre-orders in the first two weeks of pre-sale (as of March 20), and surpassed 1.31 million in three weeks, heralding the first "million seller" of K-pop female solo artists.

The title song "Flower" has topped the iTunes top song charts in 60 countries, including the United States, so far, and has also received the top spot on major music charts in Korea.
