YG Entertainment's new girl group "BabyMonster" has surpassed 4 million YouTube subscribers.
According to YG on Monday, BabyMonster has more than 4 million subscribers to its official YouTube channel at 8:13 p.m. on the previous day. The channel has shown explosive growth in less than a year since its inception.
BabyMonster has proved its overwhelming impact by attracting more than 3.5 million subscribers during the pre-promotion period alone before its official debut.
Notably, after the release of "BATTER UP" on July 27, the band saw its momentum accelerate. It has secured 270,000 additional subscribers just one day after its debut, gradually expanding its fan base.
The music video for "Batter Up" had 2.59 million views in just one day after its release, breaking the 24-hour mark for its K-pop debut song. It has surpassed 100 million views in 18 days, the fastest time for a K-pop group to debut. Its official channel has accumulated more than 750 million views.
Meanwhile, BabyMonster's "Batter Up," which was released on the 27th of last month, topped the iTunes cumulative 21 countries song chart.
