The group TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) has achieved the "Double Million Seller" title.
According to Hanteo Chart on the 2nd, cumulative sales of TOMORROW X TOGETHER's 5th mini-album 'The Name Chapter: Temptation' surpassed 2 million copies on the 6th day of its release (February 1), reaching 2,027,817 copies.
"TXT, which has the first 'Double Million Seller' album in 3 years and 11 months since its debut, set a new record for achieving the quickest 'Double Million Sellers' title among K-pop artists," Big Hit Music said. "TXT sold 1,868,919 copies on the Hanteo Chart alone, the first time since BTS."
"The Name Chapter: Temptation" is an album that tells the story of youth shaken by temptation that hinders growth, eventually becoming stronger and growing after overcoming the temptation. The title track "Sugar Rush Ride" is an alternative pop dance genre that depicts a boy falling into irresistible temptation.
With this, TXT became the 4th K-pop boy group to have an album exceeding one million copies sold within the first week after BTS, Seventeen, and Stray Kids.
