UP10TION Members To Leave TOP Media Following Contract Expiration

On February 28th, TOP Media announced that Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bit-To, Sunyoul, and Gyujin will be leaving the agency following the expiration of their exclusive contracts. The agency said, "We discussed carefully with the members for a long time, and mutually agreed to terminate the contract following the expiration of the exclusive contract. However, out of deep affection for UP10TION by all the members, it has been agreed that the group UP10TION will remain as it is with 7 members, and that we will support UP10TION's activities in the future if they promote as UP10TION."

TOP media Entertainment added, "We would like to express our sincere gratitude to the members who have grown together for a long time, and we will support them in their future activities as good artists. We would like to express our sincere thanks once again to the fans who have generously supported Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bit-To, Sunyoul, and Gyujin."

UP10TION made their official debut on September 10, 2015 with 10 members. Lee Jin Hyuk and Kim Wooseok are currently inactive, meanwhile fans speculate that leader Jinhoo left the group earlier this year although the agency has not released an official statement about the matter. In addition, Hwanhee and Xiao are currently participating in the survival show "Boys Planet."

We sincerely thank the fans who love UP10TION. The exclusive contracts of UP10TION members Kuhn, Kogyeol, Bit-To, Sunyoul, and Gyujin, who have been with us since their debut in September 2015, will end on March 11th.

We discussed carefully with the members for a long time, and mutually agreed to terminate the contract following the expiration of the exclusive contract. However, out of deep affection for UP10TION by all the members, it has been agreed that the group UP10TION will remain as it is with 7 members, and that we will support UP10TION's activities in the future if they promote as UP10TION.
