The debut album "Sparkling Blue" of the rookie group TWS has sold 500,000 copies.
According to the Circle Chart today (11th), TWS' first mini album, which was released on January 22, sold 502,355 copies (including regular and Weverse version) until March 31. The album's January sales were 282,254 copies (based on the Circle Chart), with about 220,000 additional copies sold in two months.
They already are half a million sellers with only one album!
The agency, Pledis Entertainment, believes their popularity is attributed to the sensation of the title song "Plot Twist." The song ranked first in music broadcasting even after TWS's domestic activities ended, and remains at the top of major music charts.
TWS also received its first rookie award three months after its debut at the "1st Asian Star Entertainer Awards 2024 (ASEA 2024)" held in K-Arena, Yokohama, Japan on the 10th.
"Sparkling Blue" is the fourth highest debut album in 1st week sales by rookie groups.
