Brand New Music trio, Phantom, consisting of Hanhae, Sanchez, and Kiggen, will, unfortunately, be disbanding.
Their label, Brand New Music, announced that Phantom will perform as a group one final time during Brand New's annual year-end concert, BRANDNEW Year 2017 (BRANDNEW SEASON), after which the members will part ways and focus on individual activities.
This news is unfortunate, but not entirely surprising. Both Hanhae and Kiggen have recently solo comebacks, and Sanchez has been keeping himself busy with his own individual activities. In addition, Phantom has not released an album in 3 years.
Phantom has provided us with years of stellar music, so at least we have quite the back catalog to appreciate after their disbandment, in addition to their solo activities.
Best wishes to Hanhae, Sanchez and Kiggen in all of their future endeavors.

That's really a shame... I still remember their debut in 2011 with a single titled 'Eolgul Tturheojigetda'. It was really a great song, despite all the controversy as it showed young women in cuffs being shot in the head. Heh, that could have been a little bit brutal, but it has totally fit the overall theme of the song - that's why I instantly thought: "Those guys have some balls" and I loved them since then ❤ I will miss them, but as seeing that they don't release anything anymore for basically 3 years, I guess there is no other choice. I wish you all the best though boys!
