Bong Jaehyun (봉재현) is the Vocalist of the Boy Group Golden Child under Woollim Entertainment. Jaehyun was born in South Korea but grew up to study in Chicago, USA.
He made his debut as a member of Golden Child in the reality series Woollim Pick in 2017. With the release of their first mini album, 'Gol-Cha!', on August 28, 2017, he made his formal group debut with "DamDaDi" serving as the lead single.
The first episode of the web drama "Convenience Store Fling" featuring Jaehyun debuted on January 23, 2021, marking his acting debut. Then, on May 2, it was reported that he was in the cast of the film Urban Myths. It premiered on April 27, 2022.
On April 6, 2023, the three major cast members for the upcoming drama "I Am a Gangster Who Became a High School Student" (literal title) that will premiere in 2024 have been revealed to include Jaehyun.
On August 22, 2023, the casting of Jaehyun as Eunho in the drama Twinkling Watermelon was revealed. Then, on September 25, the first episode aired.
