VIINI

Introduction

VIINI (비니), also known by his full name Kwon Hyun Bin (권현빈; or simply Hyunbin), is a South Korean model, singer, rapper and actor under Ghost Studio. He is a former member of the project group JBJ. He made his solo debut on August 19, 2019, with the mini album Dimension.

In April 2017, he joined Produce 101 Season 2 under KPLUS, but was eliminated in the finale, finishing 22nd. He then debuted as a member of a project group from the same show, JBJ on October 18, 2017, with their first mini album Fantasy. On April 30, the members of JBJ shared handwritten letters and officially disbanded on April 30, 2018, with no contract extension.

On May 31, YGX announced that Hyunbin is in the final stage of preparations for his solo debut for a target release within the summer. On August 1, 2019, it was confirmed that he would be making his solo debut on August 19 under his new stage name VIINI.

He made his solo debut on August 19, 2019, with the mini album Dimension. Coinciding his birthday on March 4, 2020, he made his first-ever solo comeback with the digital single "Moon & Butterfly".

On January 3, 2024, it was announced that Hyunbin had departed from YG Entertainment after his contract expired and decided not to renew.
