Lee Chaeyeon (이채연) was the main dancer, lead vocalist, and lead rapper of the project group IZ*ONE. She debuted with the group through the second season of Produce 48. Chaeyeon was also known for appearing and competing in JYP Entertainment's "SIXTEEN" alongside her sister ITZY's Chaeryeong.
She made her debut as a member of IZ*ONE on October 29, 2018, with their first mini album "COLOR*IZ". After more than two years of successful promotions, the group disbanded on April 29, 2021.
Following IZ*ONE's disbandment, Chaeyeon joined the Mnet Dance Survival Show "Street Woman Fighter" where she finished in 7th place.
Chaeyeon debuted as a soloist on October 12, 2022, with her first mini-album "HUSH RUSH". The single debuted on Bugs' charts immediately after release, and charted on Melon, Genie, and iTunes in it's first week of release. The single's music video through her official YouTube channel also exceeded 10 million views within 4 days.
In 2023, she participated in the Mnet survival show "Queendom Puzzle", where she left due to personal reasons.
