Introduction

ATBO (Korean: 에이티비오; Japanese: エイティビオ) is a six-member boy group under IST Entertainment, formed from the survival show called THE ORIGIN – A, B, OR What?. They debuted as seven on July 27th, 2022 with the release of their mini album "The Beginning : 開花".

The name of the group, "ATBO", stands for At The Beginning of Originality. Initially, the group was supposed to be named "ABO", but it was changed due to concerns raised by fans, as "ABO" was considered a racial slur in some regions, which prompted the name change to "ATBO".

On May 6, 2024, IST Entertainment announced that Rakwon would be leaving ATBO due to health reasons and that the rest of the members would continue their activities as a six-member group.
