Introduction

Lee Seung-hoon (이승훈), better known by the mononym Seunghoon or Hoony, is a South Korean singer, rapper, songwriter and choreographer. He is a member of the South Korean boy group WINNER. Prior to his debut, he appeared in the first season of the television singing contest K-pop Star, finishing in fourth place.

Hoony was born in South Korea's Busan. Following his high school graduation, he relocated to Seoul and participated in the "Honest Boys" dance group's audition for Korea's Got Talent.

He then debuted as a member of WINNER on August 17, 2014 with lead singles "Empty" and "Color Ring".

Seunghoon became the second member of the group to enlist on April 16, 2020. He was discharged on January 15, 2022.
