Park Jin Young (박진영; better known as J.Y. Park or J.Y. Park "The Asiansoul") is a famous South Korean singer, songwriter and producer. He started his music career with the song “Don’t Leave Me” from his first album, Blue City.
In 1997, Park founded JYP Entertainment, originally called as Tae-Hong Planning Corp.
From May 1997 to February 2011, he led JYP Entertainment and helped successful artists like Wonder Girls, Miss A, Rain, Got7, Twice, Day6, Stray Kids, Itzy, 2PM, Nmixx, and Xdinary Heroes. He also tried Mandopop with Boy Story and explored J-pop with NiziU.
In November 2022, he dropped a new song called “Groove Back” on November 21, and the music video came out three days earlier, as the agency mentioned. Then he announced a solo concert, happening in Japan after 7 years, at Yokohama Pia Arena MM on January 28-29.
