Kim Mingyu is a South Korean rapper, dancer, songwriter and composer under Pledis Entertainment. He is the lead rapper, sub vocalist, visual, and face of the boy group SEVENTEEN. He is also a member of the group's rap unit SVT HIPHOP Team.

Mingyu began training in 2011 and even appeared in the music video of labelmates' such as NU'EST's Face. He eventually debuted as a member of SEVENTEEN on May 26, 2015 with the mini-album 17 Carat.
