Park Chae Young (박채영), known for her stage name Rosé (로제), is a South Korean singer under YG Entertainment. She is best known as the main vocalist and lead dancer of the girl group BLACKPINK.
Rosé was born on February 11, 1997 in Auckland, New Zealand, but she grew up in Melbourne, Australia. When she was sixteen years old, she participated in YG Entertainment's Australia Audition and passed. Because of this, she moved back to South Korea and started her journey as an official trainee of the agency.
In 2013, she was featured on a G-Dragon track called without you.
After four years and 2 months of training, Rosé made her debut with BLACKPINK on August 8, 2016 and went on to become one of the most well-known artists of her generation.
On March 12, 2021, Rosé made her highly-anticipated solo debut with the single album "-R-".
