Son Dam Bi (손담비), is a South Korean singer and actress currently signed under H& Entertainment. She made her solo-singing debut on June 11th, 2007, with the single, "Cry Eye" signed under Pledis Entertainment. She also made her acting debut on July 27th, 2009, for the Korean drama, "Dream".
Prior to Son Dam-Bi's debut, MSN Japan made a video documentary capturing her pre-debut training and rehearsals, which attracted 480,000 visitors in five days. She trained with a well-known Korean-American choreographer in preparation for an album, and people began calling her the female version of Rain.
On June 2nd, 2015, Pledis Entertainment announced that Som Dam-Bi's contract had expired after 10 years of activity. On June 15th, 2015, she signed with KeyEast Entertainment for her future activities. However, on September 14th, 2020, Som Dam-Bi left KeyEast Entertainment and signed with H& Entertainment.
Son Dam-Bi has acted in numerous Korean dramas and shows including MBC's reality show, "We Got Married" (2008-2009), Korean drama, "Dream" (2009), "Lights and Shadows" (2011-2012), "What's With This Family?" (2015), and Korean romantic comedy thriller, "When the Camelia Blooms" (2019).
On January 25, 2022 she announced through Instagram that she was going to marry Lee Kyou Hyuk.
