Kang Seung-yoon, also known as Seungyoon or Yoon, is a South Korean singer-songwriter, actor, and leader of boy group Winner. In 2010, he participated in the reality television singing contest Superstar K2 and finished in fourth place. In January 2011, he became a trainee under YG Entertainment and went on to debut as a solo artist in July 2013.
In 2013, Seungyoon was revealed to be a particpant in the boy group survival program "WIN: Who is Next" together with his group Team A. Following Team A's win on the show, the group eventually debuted as the five-member group "Winner".
Besides performing on stage, Yoon has since then appeared in variety shows and has even starred in dramas such as "We Broke Up", "Prison Playbook", "Kairos", and "Voice 4".
