Youngjae (영재) aka Choi Young Jae, born on September 17, 1996, is one of GOT7's vocalists. In 2013, after passing an audition at his gifted music school in Mokpo, he entered the JYP training system. He was a trainee for 7 months before debuting and was last to join the group.
He debuted as a member of GOT7 with the single "Girls Girls Girls", released on 16 January, 2014.
Following the expiration of his contract with JYP Entertainment, he signed an exclusive contract with Sublime Artist Agency on 20 January 2021.
On 5 October, 2021 he made his solo debut with his first extended play, Colors from Ars, and its title track "Vibin".
