Introduction

Yuju (유주) also known as Choi Yu-na (최유나) is a South Korean singer-songwriter under Konnect Entertainment. She was born in Ilsan, South Korea and has one older sister. She first trained at LOEN Entertainment, but ultimately debuted in 2015 under Source Music as the main vocalist of the group GFRIEND. Yuju, along with her fellow members, rose to fame for their vocal and dancing prowess, and ultimately became South Korea's most popular artists. Yuju went on to release soundtracks for various dramas and even released her solo digital single "Love Rain" in 2018.

Following GFRIEND's sudden disbandment in May 2021, Yuju left Source Music. On September 1, 2021, it was reported that Yuju joined Konnect Entertainment for her solo promotions.

Yuju debuted as a soloist on January 18, 2022, with the extended play Rec. and its lead single "Play".
