BOYHOOD (남동현) is a South Korean independent singer-songwriter, composer, producer, and musician. He is a former member of the boy band South Club.
He made his solo debut on July 26, 2020 with the digital single "Retro Love".
On February 18, South Club performed at the Rolling Hall 23rd Anniversary Concert, and Donghyun was introduced as their new bassist. His first release with the band was their second mini album, 20. Sometime after, he left the band.
In 2019, he became a contestant of Mnet's reality survival show, Produce X 101. He was eliminated in the episode 8 after ranking 60th place.
On July 21, it was announced that he would make his solo debut, with a self-produced song, on July 26. In that day, a set of concept photos was released. On July 22, the official teaser for the music video was released.
In 2022, he participated in the survival show Stars Awakening.
