On December 27th, Chairman Kim Min Ja from 'Snail of Love,' an association that supports the deaf community, revealed that EXO's Chanyeol recently donated 20 million won to help children with hearing difficulties.
According to reports, Chanyeol's donation will be used to fund cochlear implant surgeries & speech rehabilitation treatments. The EXO member established a relationship with 'Snail of Love' when he started regular sponsorship with them back in January 2021. In addition, in May of this year, during Children's Day, Chanyeol donated 20 million won and helped two deaf children.
Regarding the donation, Chanyeol said, "I am happy to be able to help hearing-impaired children grow healthily through surgery and rehabilitation treatment. I hope the children can have a warm year-end."
Chairman Kim Min Ja also expressed gratitude to Chanyeol saying, "Thank you for joining 'Snail of Love' to support the hearing impaired through consistent sharing. The donations you have delivered will be used transparently for the hearing impaired who cannot hear due to financial difficulties."
