Is she really retiring? Many of BoA’s fans are speculating that she might actually be serious about her retirement plans.
On April 6, BoA’s Instagram story showed, “When my contract ends, I can retire, right?”
The Instagram story included a typo, so she corrected it by posting a second story that said, “I made a typo. I’m retiring.”
Because ‘retirement’ was mentioned twice on her posts, fans speculated that the contract BoA posted was about the expiration of her exclusive contract with SM Entertainment.
if boa's retiring fr, i hope its bc she genuinely wants to & not bc of the harassment she's been facing. as a fan, its such a shock since she always talks about how she still loves her work, how she wants to inspire her juniors to believe its possible to achieve longevity in kpop

I’m perfectly content with the idea of boa retiring she’s been in the industry almost 25 years and started when she was 13 she’s more than earned a break from it all

I hope BoA realizes how heavy the word retire is... coz it's shattering alot of hearts esp jumpings. 😔💔

But at the end of the day, if that's what she wants, I'll support her all the way... even tho it kills me. 🥹💛pic.twitter.com/aBhM8to0Fu
