After taking a break from the idol industry indefinitely, and eventually announcing his departure from NCT and WayV, Lucas was barely seen by fans. For a while, nobody knew what was next for him and his career.
Today, Lucas surprised his fans with a new Instagram photo showing the idol looking great, as usual, and this time with longer hair.
In less than 10 minutes, his Instagram post already got more than 200,000 likes and nearly 50,000 comments from excited fans expressing their joy after seeing an actual clear image of the idol.

Also tagged on the post is his new official Instagram account, @lucas_smofficial. Minutes after he posted, SM Entertainment added an Instagram highlight tagging Lucas' personal and official accounts.
Earlier this month, Lucas opened his own official Twitter/X account with the handle, @lucas_official. 
Lucas was recently spotted publicly alongside his NCT co-members and other SM artists while watching concerts.
There are still no updates or details on his comeback. It’s been years since he took a break but fans continue to wait. This new post is a pleasant surprise to his patient fans.
