SEVENTEEN's Woozi Dedicates a Song to Late ASTRO's Moonbin on His Birthday

SEVENTEEN's Woozi Dedicates a Song to Late ASTRO's Moonbin on His Birthday

SEVENTEEN’s Woozi dedicated a song to ASTRO’s Moonbin, who passed away last year.

Woozi released his new song 'What Kind of Future' on Moonbin's birthday through various music sites on the 26th. The introduction to the new song on Melon reads, ‘I will never forget your smile filled with love, no matter what the future may be.’

Previously, Woozi went to Moonbin's Instagram last year and left a comment saying, "You always ask me when I'm going to release 'What Kind of Future,' that you want to listen to that song digitally that much, so I'll take responsibility & fight with the company just so I can release it on your birthday no matter what.”

The new song cover released that day contained an image of a butterfly flying on a white background. Fans also speculate that it symbolizes the white butterfly captured in Moonbin's memorial space in the past. Many fans were heartbroken when they saw this white butterfly, saying, ‘Moonbin came to see it.’

Moonbin, who debuted as ASTRO in 2016, continued his active career and suddenly passed away in April last year. SEVENTEEN recently expressed their affection for Moonbin by mentioning him at the MAMA Awards ceremony.

What Kind of Future’ is SEVENTEEN’s Woozi’s unreleased solo song since 2018. It was first performed in one of their concerts.
