TXT's Yeonjun Praised By Netizens For Generous Donation to Firefighters

On May 2nd, the Hallym Burn Foundation revealed that they received a 50 million won donation from TXT's Yeonjun to support firefighters. It is said that Yeonjun's donation will particularly will be used to support firefighters' medical and nursing expenses through the "Firefighter Trauma 119 Program."

The Firefighter Trauma 119 Program is a specialized treatment project that the Hallym Burn Foundation has been developing and implementing directly together with Professor Lee Byeong-cheol of the Department of Psychiatry at Hallym Korea Sacred Heart Hospital last year. The program mainly serves the brave firefighters who are often exposed to trauma-related stress and medical emergencies brought by their proffesion. In addition, the Hallym Burn Foundation is also implementing a customized mental health recovery support project for firefighters who suffered trauma during rescue missions.

Heo Jun, chairman of the Hallym Burn Foundation, said, “We are grateful for the meaningful help that helped firefighters feel emotionally stable,” and added, “We will do our best to ensure a healthy life for firefighters.”
