IVE's Wonyoung Was Threatened Online

Police launched an investigation after a message threatening IVE's Jang Wonyoung's personal safety was posted.

On the 9th, the agency Starship Entertainment said, "A message threatening the personal safety of our artist, IVE's Jang Won-young, was posted in a community the day before."

The agency said, "The post, which specifies the date and time of the crime, has now been reported to the police and the police have launched an investigation into the publisher," adding, "We will take legal action as soon as the identity is revealed."

Fans are glad Starship Entertainment is taking action.

"We are strengthening professional security personnel to protect the personal protection of our artists, and re-examining the security of artists' routes, office buildings, and accommodations," they said. "We will continue to strengthen monitoring of all acts that threaten the personal safety of our artists in the future and take legal action immediately after discovery."

Meanwhile, IVE, which includes Jang Won-young, has been touring 27 cities in 19 countries through its first world tour "Show What I Have" since October last year, released "IVE SWITCH" on the 29th of last month and has been actively promoting in Korea with the title song "Heya."
