Singer HyunA expressed her honest feelings about her romantic relationship with Yong Junhyung.

HyunA, who is preparing for her new album in May, said, "The most time invested these days is choreography lessons," adding, "The album will come out in the first week of May. It's the second week of choreography, but I'm not familiar with it. I'm on vocal lessons or having date." Cho Hyun-ah asked, "Where are you going on a date?", to which she replied "I don't care. I really want to go to 'The Hyundai'. There are scones that I like and new designer brands, so I want to see them. I want to see LP albums. But there are too many people." She said, "I went with my boyfriend. But people were walking backwards while saying, 'Oh~' I was actually so thankful for them. They didn't take pictures of us".
"In "The Hyundai," we came out of the store thinking that we shouldn't do this," she said honestly about the actual dating situation.
HyunA said, "I feel energized when I see this. It's so nice to be in a relationship. I'm grateful to meet someone who really gives me courage in my work," adding, "When I keep track of other people's eyes, sometimes I lose my happiness value at some point. I focus on what I am now. One of my tips is that tomorrow is better than today. If you spend tomorrow more productively than today, there is nothing happier than that."
Earlier in January, HyunA and Yong Junhyung posted a photo of them holding hands affectionately, revealing that they are dating. Afterwards, Yong Junhyung admitted his romantic relationship with HyunA through a paid fan community, saying, "We are doing well while receiving positive energy from each other, so I hope you support us." Recently, it has been revealed that they travelled to Bangkok together without covering their faces.
However, some fans are showing negative reactions, referring to Yong Junhyung's past controversies. When it was revealed that he had seen an illegal video shared by Jung in 2015, he admitted it belatedly and withdrew from Highlight in 2019. Although he was not a member of the so-called "Jung Joon-young Group Chat Room," it was revealed that he received a video and exchanged inappropriate conversations with Jung in the 1:1 chat room, and eventually temporarily suspended his singing career.
