BTS Enters the U.S. Billboard's 2022 Year-End Charts

BTS swept the top of the Billboard year-end charts in the U.S.

According to the 2022 YEAR-END CHARTS released by U.S. music media Billboard on the 1st (local time), BTS ranked 8th in the Hot 100 Artist Duo/Group, 5th in the Billboard 200 Artist Duo/Group, 10th in Billboard Global (excluding the U.S.), and 11th in Digital Song Sales Artist. The anthology album Proof, released in June, ranked 56th on the "Billboard 200" album, 6th on "Top Album Sales" and "Top Current Album Sales," respectively, and 1st on "World Albums."

BTS recorded a total of five songs on "Billboard Global 200," including 38th place for "Butter," 40th place for "Dynamite," 175th place for "Permission to Dance," 25th place for "My Universe" in collaboration with Coldplay, and 106th place for "Left and Right" (Feat. Jungkook of BTS) in collaboration with Charlie Puth.

BTS also ranked 26th on the "Digital Song Sales" chart with "Bad Decisions" in collaboration with Benny Blanco and Snoop Dogg, and 30th in "Left and Right (Feat. Jungkook of BTS)" and 48th with "My Universe".

Meanwhile, J-Hope ranked ninth on the "Best Album of the Year 100" selected by the American music magazine Rolling Stone with his solo album "Jack In The Box" released in July. Rolling Stone said, "J-Hope, the first BTS member to release a solo album, raised the standard from the beginning with 'Jack In The Box'. I'm sure fans won't be disappointed with his music career in the future."
