The '2023 Dream Concert' Will Be Held in Busan
"Dream Concert" is the longest Kpop concert in Korea that has been held every year since its first hosting in 1995 until 2022, with about 1.55 million domestic and foreign audiences visiting so far, and 604 Kpop singers have taken the stage.
Dream Concert is the only social contribution activity created by active cooperation and participation of the Korea Entertainment Producers Association, member companies, and their celebrities, and Kpop singers representing Korea will participate this year to shine on the stage.
The Korea Tourism Organization, the co-host, plans to develop Dream Concert tour products with professional travel agencies to provide a venue for Kpop fans from all over the world to visit the Busan concert site to enjoy the 2023-2024 Visit Korea Year.
The Dream Concert, which is about to celebrate its 30th anniversary, is more special. It will be held as the official closing performance of the 2023 Climate Industry International Fair.
Through this "Dream Concert," the Korea Entertainment Producers Association will raise public enthusiasm to wish for the success of hosting the 2030 Busan World Expo and strengthen the enthusiasm for hosting it.
Meanwhile, a project called "Dream Rookie" will be carried out to discover new Kpop artists and provide a foothold for overseas expansion.
Dream Rookie, which selects the best Kpop rookies, has been currently being voted with the participation of more than 100,000 fans through the fancast app since the 10th (Mon). The voting will be held until April 23 (Sun), and the final selection team will be announced on April 25 (Tue).
The 29th Dream Concert is co-hosted by the Korea Entertainment Producers Association and the Korea Tourism Organization, sponsored by HD Hyundai, and sponsored by the Ministry of Culture, Sports and Tourism.
